The Spring Equinox of 1888 changed the world! By the Order beginning actual magical practice on that date, magic was taken out of the Medieval manuscripts, and ritual was no longer just used by the Church and Freemasons. One of the reasons the Golden Dawn thrived was because it had women who sometimes contributed much more than the men.
