The bone cross is a storied and integral magic that has been a part of conjure, voodoo and witchcraft for generations. It is an amulet of protection, a crafted spell to ward your doorways and windows, or worn to adorn hats and garments. Witchdoctor Utu, with a little help from his friends, will not only supply each attendee of the workshop with the materials and curios needed as you make your own bone cross, but we will also awaken, charge and bless the fetish as well as feed and empower the juju that will inhabit your bone cross. This method we will use via incantation, oil and purpose, is the juju that while originating in Ghana, has taken root in the Americas, and in particular the bone cross has legacy in the Niagara Region of Ontario Canada, the last stop for Harriet "Mama Moses" Tubman and her "track" of the Underground Railroad.
