Full Schedule

From ancient scrolls to modern grimoires, from papyrus to parchment, from quill to typewriter, sacred magic has been expressed through the medium of a simple material: paper in all of its forms. In this class we will observe and explore the potent psychic energies paper can record, absorb, impart, and transform.

We will examine the pieces of paper which make the world of men spin: money and the ancient and powerful symbolism printed upon it.

We will flip through the pages of the world's holy books and study the mysteries contained therein. How do each of these books agree and differ from wider western occultism? Which books seem to contain white magic and which ones black magic, and what are these books trying to tell the reader?

Tarot cards, Ouija Boards, vision boards, sigils and squares, signatures, and documents full of power and history--paper surely runs the world.

How can we utilize paper to assist in our magic to gain more control of the forces of the world around us? Within this class we will explore the many ways and create some potent magic out of almost nothing. Supplies will be provided; be prepared to put your skills with a pen to good use.
