Italy and her islands possess a host of unique spiritual traditions that range from worshipping the Roman gods to a vast series of folk magic practices, faith healing, divination and the neo-pagan “stregheria“ along with occult mysteries cloaked among the saints of Catholic Italy.

Sicilian born Drago Vincenzo, will share hands-on spell work sourced from his island, culture, and family featuring:

  • The legendary “mal’occhio“ (evil eye). The mysterious ritual sits at the cornerstone of modern popular Italian spell work, handed down in varying formula from family member to family member, teacher to student. An interactive demonstration of how the mal'occhio is performed, and why, along with the varying differences will be shared.
  • As well learn why and how the “olio d’oliva“ (olive oil) is used to anoint spiritual and magical objects, your body and spirit including how to use it to detect and ward off the evil eye.
  • Find out how to use the hand gesture of “i corni“ to bounce bad magic back to its sender, using the subtle art of “spitting“ to ward off bad luck and be lucky the Italian way!
  • Practical money magic
  • Sicilian lemon spell made famous in New Orleans and more!
