A slide show and talk about trees that are easily found in North America, and a discussion of their medicinal properties, mythology, and magical and spiritual significance. This talk will be particularly useful for shamanic practitioners, who will learn the different personalities of the trees and what can be learned from communicating with them. The focus is weighted towards Celtic lore, but there are mentions of Native American beliefs, Siberian religion, Norse tradition, and the speaker's personal experiences. The trees to be covered in the talk include:
