The world of African Traditional Religion is a diverse universe populated with Loa and Orishá, spirit possessions, and natural grace. Despite media portrayals of zombies and wild abandon, the religions are actually a complex system of nature-inspired belief. Join Lilith as she discusses the in and outs of New Orleans Voodoo, Haitian Vodou, La Regla Lucumi (Santo), and various other manifestations of African Traditional Religion.

This workshop will answer your questions and introduce you to the divine ashé (sacred energy) of:

  • Changó the Orishá of fire
  • Oshún the Orishá of love
  • Erzulie Freda the Loa of sensuality
  • Oyá the Orishá of lightning
  • Maman Brigitte the Loa who rules the Dead
  • and many more
