Christina Wilke-Burbach PhD is a Spiritual/Transpersonal Psychologist, Anthropologist, Death Witch, Death Doula, Deathwalker, Psychopomp, Psychic, Poisoner, Occultist, Cemeterian, & works full-time in the Deathcare Industry. She is a High Priestess with The NYC Wiccan Family Temple, an ordained minister, & Reiki Master Teacher. Her ministry and craft focus on death/dying, guiding souls to the otherworld, facilitating and leading seances, paranormal investigations/clearings, exorcism, facilitating death rites and funerals, helping people plan for their death, writing obituaries, shadow work, psychic development, spiritual awakenings, funeral flower arrangements, and designing gardens for the dead.
Christina is a Master Gardener, Herbalist, Certified Aromatherapist, Gardening Instructor, Botanical Artist, and Natural Perfumer, specializing in Poison Gardens, Heirloom Gardening, Gothic Gardening, Graveyard Gardening, Carnivorous Plants, and Gardening for the Dead. Christina has 3 decades of higher education and experience in psychology, spirituality, magick, the occult, and metaphysics. She holds a PhD in Health Psychology, a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, and a minor in Sociology. She is also trained in Transpersonal Psychology, having studied with Stanislav Grof, MD, PhD—the founder of the field. Based in the Midwest, she operates Mind, Soul, and Self LLC.
Christina is the author of the book “Gardens for Ghosts: The Art, Ritual, and Magick of Planting for the Dead.” She is the host of the Spotify podcast, 'Garden Goth'. She is also the host of the death-positive Radio show, “The Happy Death Show with Christina” (on News for the Soul). She is also a contributing author for THE GRAY paranormal magazine.
