Full Schedule

The Sun and Moon figure centrally in all mythologies and systems of magic. From associations with angels, gods, and spirits, to the nuts and bolts of astrology--the “Great Luminaries” define our lived reality. We mark our time, our very lives, by these two bodies, and they pull and push against the forces of the Earth. In magical practice and mindful consciouness-raising, we can use these two celestial bodies as foundational lynchpins for our spiritual pathworkings. Nothing can be better to light your way than the two great lamps of Heaven.

In this class we will tap into the correspondences and ritual practices of both the Sun and the Moon. We will cover:

  • The role of the Sun and Moon in astrology.
  • The phases of the Moon in magical timing.
  • Solar and Lunar magical rituals.
  • Magical correspondences: the earthly reflections of the Sun and Moon.
  • Sustained practices timed by the cycles of the Seasons and the Moon.
  • The Lunar and Solar spirits: deities, angels, and beyond.

Whether at high noon or in the dead of night, the Sun and Moon are the brightest bodies in our sky. They are endless sources of focal power and this class will hone our relationship to the Luminaries and the endless possibilities they contain for practitioners.
